My friend Mr. Joe Walters and his impressive collection of Capone and Lexington Hotel
artifacts and relics.
Mr. Joseph Walters
My interest in Al Capone/Mafia history started when I was fourteen years old. At a Chicago store I came across a video, Chicago and It's Gangsters, it was made in Chicago and showed all the famous gangster spots that were still around in 1992. The video also showed some graves of gangsters as well. So using that video as a guide, my father and I would go out find these places and from then on my interest grew.
My hobby consists of artifacts, old pictures of places and people, old postcards, old magazines and newspapers, books, photos of gangster sites today, photos of basically every notable gangster, and a few knick-knacks.Below and throughout Mario's website are some photos of my collection and places interest.
Sincerely,
Joe Walters
